Behind the Code: Flexible Work
Seniority, technical ability, communication, responsibility. Without these, telecommuting just doesn’t work in my experience.
We built Pretty Much Nomads Ltd. as a fully remote agency from the outset. Back then, Petr Zacik and I were fully nomadic and we liked the idea of bringing together a bunch of people who worked the same way. This idea was born on a beach in Vietnam before it became a reality in Czechia.
Now the agency is 3+ years old, and in that time, we’ve created websites, content strategies, business materials, and whitepapers for over 35 tech companies.
We helped validate software products, map onboarding for new users, and prepare product videos and business presentations. We also coordinated with partners in the U.S. and designed an expansion into Canada.
The lecture was about our experiences, painful beginnings, and hard-won learnings.
Copy what clicks: A short dive into the depths of UX Writing
Drop the textbook lessons. Get rid of forced creativity. Buttons, reminders, tooltips, and forms are our domain. Our pace is slow (“What’s taking you so long to write one sentence?”). The user is our master. Jump into waves of functional text for user interfaces. I won’t drown you in facts – I’ll refresh you with simple principles.
User Journey as the holy grail for your (marketing) content
Do you ever wonder why your users are leaving your product? What are the pain points and problems that need to be solved? Most marketing campaigns focus on acquiring new customers and presenting the product in the best light. However, the real battle begins after registration or order. In this lecture, we will look at how to use well-timed and implemented content to retain your customers.
AI text generators – are they a threat or benefit for content writers?
In her talk, Vladana will dive into the world of AI text generators and their effect on content writing. She’ll showcase the top tools, the most mind-blowing use cases, and show you how AI-generated prompts can save you time and effort. She’ll even provide examples of generated texts for you to see for yourself. Lastly, Vladana will give you a sneak peek into the future of human and AI collaboration in content creation, and share her predictions on what that might look like.
The Ups and Downs of the Agency Business
They were actually heading there the whole time. We can exaggerate and say that it just happened to each of them. Each of them runs an agency. Otherwise big. Otherwise focused. And otherwise long-lasting. Come and listen to what their ups and downs are.
How to plan content marketing for the year 2023
Are you struggling with what content to prepare this year? What to create, where to publish, and why? You will list the services or products you offer and to whom. You will define your communication goals and prepare outlines of tactics to achieve them. You will determine the topics you want to communicate and gradually add them to the plan template. This way, you will put together individual pieces of content into a cohesive and, above all, functional puzzle. You will plan some of it directly during the workshop, and you will be able to handle the rest on your own according to the established system.
Startup Showcase: Contesaur app
